Little Pickles Markets are all held in indoor venues, that are pushchair/ wheelchair friendly and has accessible parking. We only charge a minimal entry fee of £1 per adult and your Little Pickles are free.
We arrange children’s markets for families to hire tables to sell their good quality nearly new children’s items. Items on sale can include pushchairs, nursery furniture, toys, books, clothes and much more.
Little Pickles Markets were started in 2010 by busy mum to 5 pickles Jessamine, who wanted a new challenge in life that fitted around family commitments and watching them grow up. After having a good clear out of the children’s stuff to raise some extra cash, she was getting very frustrated by selling on auction sites and early starts at car boots and almost giving away good quality items.
The business was named after the pet name Jessamine's late Grandad (a resourceful recycler) had given her and her siblings as children. This is very apt as even though we are helping parents save much need money, our markets also help perfectly good items find new homes and not ending up in landfill, so having a positive effect on our children's environment and future.
